Hey Readers ,
I was content about the feeds i got on my first blog entry on August 17th.
But i would like to repeat again,my entries are my perspectives. They may be similar to other perspectives or ancient practices.
About my first blog , The ancient Vedic practice of four periods of life is similiar to what i wrote i agree. But,the message or my conclusion was not just to make my interpretation about what i made at Puri, but it was about the way of life. Its about the ideal life. The life GOD lives himself and how our ancestors kept that in practice. We have lost the knowledge our ancestors had,the practices we were put into.Every practice in hindu religion is related to science and there was a reason why we were called "sone ki chidiya" (A bird made of gold).
The above statement was not wealth inclined, but it was made from knowledge we had since ancient times.
I can support this with a very common example from our daily life practices.
We all know about "16 somwaar vrat" which is kept by unmarried women who wish to get their desired Groom.
It started when Parvati[Incarnation of Sati (Adi shakti)] wanted Shiva as her husband but the Lord refused to marry her. Then Lord Vishnu helped Sati and told her that there are 16 types of impurities in a women's body when she is born.Shiva is the prime and infinite. To get Shiva, she has to get rid of all the impurities by doing a fast on 16 mondays. These fast just didnt mean eating less but,it bacame tougher and tougher. This process is of Self-realisation and taking control over senses and hence getting through all Energy Circles or Elements we are made of.
That was little about one of our Hindu traditions.
And yes,i agree i wasnt able to present the idea i had in mind in my previous entry.I will try me best to be more presenting and less convulating.
Abhikarsh.
